Rules for "The Offline Society"
Everything stays offline. We are not permitted to use any digital devices to publish or communicate about what’s happening. All information about everything happening must be distributed via physical paper or voice to other members only.
No register of members is kept. Our social circles are open and free, not confined by the amity-enmity complex. Except for when there is a limited supply of something fundamentally necessary for a happening to be realized, we reduce the necessity for sign-ups to an absolute minimum. The right people will come naturally.
If you want to split off, split off. Independence is encouraged. There are no leaders, there is only us and those who do and realize stuff. Recognize and act upon your boundaries.
Leaders educate other leaders. In every productive organization, hierarchies, even when formally renounced or discouraged, form naturally, simply because some people are louder or faster than others. To avoid this turning into ancestral privileges, we teach each other the skills we desire.
Be self-reliant. I am responsible for my own well-being.
“The Offline Society” has already started quite some time ago. Maybe you’ve already received an invitation from them as well? If not, make an event like that. All the independently emerging bubbles will merge naturally.
